DGGE Marker is designed for DNA standards of DGGE (denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis).

Note
DGGE Marker contains Loading Buffer. Apply directly to the polyacrylamide gel. SYBR® Gold, SYBR® Green I or EtBr can be used for staining of acrylamide gel.

DGGE Marker V, W and X were developed by National Institute for Agro-Environmental Sciences (NIAES) for the analysis of flora/fauna of bacteria, fungi and nematode in the soil. NIAES has conducted a project of "Development of soil biodiversity analysis system with environmental DNA", which was supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Japan. For more details on the DGGE analysis, please refer to the journal of the Japanese Society of Soil Microbiology, "Soil and Microorganism", Vol.62, No.1 (April 2008).

Example
DGGE was performed with a DCode System (Bio-Rad).5l of DGGE Marker was applied to polyacrylamide gel. After electrophoresis, the fragments of DGGE Marker were stained with SYBR® Gold.

*Electrophoresis patterns of DGGE Markers are different by DGGE condition (voltage, time,temperature, concentration of denaturant and acrylamide).
